Founded by Kaitlyn Dunst, Oak & Gable is driven by a passion for residential building design — from custom house plans and alterations & additions to dual occupancies, investment projects and council approvals.

About Kaitlyn
Growing up in our family home in Tamworth, my father, Robert Dunst, was always creating and building. His passion for art, building, and problem-solving shaped my appreciation for how spaces influence the way we feel.
I studied a Bachelor of Design (Architecture) at the University of Newcastle, where my interest in spaces that shape life only deepened.
What I enjoy most about design is the opportunity to dream and then bring that vision into existence — from early ideas, through clear planning, right up to builder-ready documentation.
My role is to provide a clear roadmap, guiding you seamlessly through the design and building journey - so you can truly love where you live.
I’ve worked alongside home owners, builders, engineers, and suppliers to create a diverse range of homes—from modest granny flats to bespoke luxury residences and multi-dwelling developments.
Oak & Gable Designs helps individuals, couples and families to create their perfect home or investment project. My goal is to understand how my clients live, pinpoint their style, and design beautifully balanced spaces with a perpetual sense of home.
